Hipobuy QC Guide
Master the quality control process for Hipobuy. Learn to read QC photos, identify defects, and exchange items before they ship to the UK.
Understanding QC Photos
QC photos are your last chance to inspect your order before it leaves China. When you request QC, the warehouse or seller takes detailed photos of the actual product. These are not the same as marketing photos - they show the real item you will receive.
Quality Inspection Process
Order & Request QC
Place your order and explicitly request QC photos before shipping. Most agents offer this as a free or low-cost service.
Receive Photos
Wait 1-3 days for the QC photos to be uploaded to your order page. You will receive a notification.
Inspect Carefully
Compare the photos against retail images. Check stitching, color, logos, materials, and overall shape.
Approve or Exchange
If satisfied, approve for shipping. If issues are found, request an exchange or return within the allowed window.
Common Defects
Stitching Errors
Loose threads, uneven stitching, or missed stitches on seams and logos.
Color Mismatch
The actual color differs from the product photos. Common with lighting differences.
Logo Placement
Logos or branding placed incorrectly, tilted, or poorly printed.
Sole Issues
Glue stains, sole separation, or incorrect sole pattern on sneakers.
Material Quality
Different texture or thickness than expected. Common with leather and suede.
